This is the story of De Beers, and it is all true.

What we left out

Claims we found and could not stand behind, so they are not in the video.

That the Big Hole is the largest hand-dug hole in the world. The claim is disputed, so the video does not make it.
The drunkenness detail in the camp cook story. It is unsourced, so it was left out, and the rest is told only as "the story goes".
A confirmed sale price for De Beers. About $1 billion has been reported, but Anglo American has not confirmed it, so the video calls it the reported price.
